Penta Career Center
This 520,000 square foot facility serves 2,000 students in 16 surrounding school districts. The new career center includes: state-of-the-art classrooms and laboratories; an expansive commons areas for students, staff, community members and businesses; a flexible design that can easily respond to changes and expansion of career programs; appropriate storage and staff areas to adequately prepare for classroom/lab experiments and spaces that encourage and increase opportunities for business/community collaboration. Durable and maintenance-free materials were involved in construction of the center.
The new facility’s design meets Penta’s most important goals, including a campus design, a highly visible entrance, clustering of similar programs in certain areas of the building and unobtrusive storage and delivery areas.
In addition to planning and architectural services, Collaborative-TMP also provided campaign assistance to Penta for the successful passage of their levy.
